Climate
Poland has a continental climate with temperature differences exceeding 20°C. The average summer temperature is between 15°C and 25°C, while in winter, it drops below 0°C. Rainfall, ranging from 500 to 600 mm annually in the western areas, decreases towards the east and increases in the southern mountains.
Language
Polish is the official language and is spoken by nearly the entire population. There are several dialects, some of which are intermediate between Polish and German or Polish and Ukrainian. The Polish language uses the Latin alphabet with a few additional letters.
Currency
Although the Euro is not yet used in Poland, with the official currency being the Polish zloty, it is very easy to exchange money or pay with debit or credit cards. Euro payments are not accepted in shops, restaurants, museums, etc. One zloty equals approximately 0.22 euros.
Culture
Polish culture has been influenced by both Eastern and Western cultures. This is currently evident in its architecture, folklore, and art. Poland is the birthplace of several well-known figures, such as Marie Curie, Frédéric Chopin, and Nicolaus Copernicus, among others.
